Sullivan Seventh-day Adventist Church
Statement of Mission 1991
The Sullivan Seventh-day Adventist Church is a part of the world-wide movement of Seventh-day Adventists, urgently proclaiming God’s last warning message symbolized by the three angels of Revelation 14:6-12. This movement is dedicated to restoring humanity physically, mentally, socially and spiritually to the image of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Savior
We believe that it is God’s will that our church is a growing church. We are committed to the biblical concept that all members are ministers and need to discover, develop and utilize their spiritual gifts, and to a multi-faceted ministry which will meet the needs of different age and interest groups with Christian education for our young people being a high priority. To this end we desire to create and maintain a warm, caring environment where everyone feels welcome and accepted, and where there is a fellowship and unity among the members.
We desire to share with others the joy we have found in the unique Adventist message and lifestyle, central to which is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We will reach others by public proclamation, creative outreach events, small group ministry, individual lifestyle witness, and compassionate caring. Working together in love by the power of the Holy Spirit, we will accomplish our mission.
